Beautiful property in a beautiful downtown Boise!! Despite multiple attempts, the parking spot was too small for even our Prius. But other parking options were nearby. We found everything we could have imagined in the heart of downtown, so now we wish we hadn’t bothered renting a car at all. Bottom line: a fabulous stay. Thank you.

The property is in a great location, however, the property manager was rude. The place had not been cleaned properly and the following statement was her response..."Maybe look up instead of down and notice the amazing views out the window and get excited about what an unbelievable place you are in . There is a whole beautiful apartment there and the pictures of beauty and cleanliness are 100 to 1 on a few specs on the floor and the Cleaner is coming back to do the floors but maybe focus on all the things that are wonderful instead of the teeny tiny things that aren’t and you would have an enjoyable time if you did."I understand that things get missed but the entire apartment floors did not get cleaned, including the entire kitchen counters. There was no apology and only additional rude messages sent to me that I am not posting.At the price per night, i expect cleanliness and professionalism.

The apartment was lovely. It is light and airy with large rooms and stunning views of the State Capitol building and the hills North of Boise. It is on the top (6th) floor of a building constructed in 1910 that is full of period features. There are plenty of restaurants and bars a step away from the building, a supermarket about a 5 minute walk away if you want any supplies, Lime scooters everywhere and a bus station just down the road. We had a couple of issues and queries when we arrived, but the hosts sorted them out straight away. Our only negative point would be the noise of the air con. It isn’t loud for air con, but being from the UK, it took us a while to get used to it. As for the restaurants and bars, even though they are immediately below the building, we didn’t hear any noise from them, even at the weekend. Would we recommend the apartment and would we stay again ? Absolutely

The apartment itself was beautiful, and in an *incredible* location. We were there on the 4th of July and had a wonderful view of the Capitol and all the festivities happening in the street below. The building itself is a little janky: it's old & a bit rundown-feeling, with some odd smells (and people!), poor lighting, and an interesting mix of both business and residential areas, and the apartment is on the sixth floor so you pass through all that on your way up. By the end of our week there, though, even the oddness of the building had taken on a sense of charm, what with its old tiles & unexpected architecture. Besides the overall comfort of the apartment, it is situated right in the middle of downtown 8th St., so there were restaurants, bars, coffee shops, & shopping immediately out the front door, and it's an easy walk or bike ride to the river and other fun locations in Boise. Note: Parking is close but when the host says only a small vehicle will fit in the spot, they mean it!
