About this place

Welcome to Boise's Bird House — a cozy, light-filled tiny home tucked away in a lush green yard, just blocks from Whitewater Park, Quinn’s Pond, and the Boise Greenbelt. The cheerful yellow and orange exterior peeks out from behind vibrant plants and trees, inviting you into a warm and welcoming retreat. Inside, you’ll find soft green tones, earthy textures, and vaulted ceilings that make the space feel open, airy, and grounded in nature. The brand-new kitchen features modern finishes, a deep basin sink with sprayer faucet and is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and bake— including coffee to jumpstart your mornings. There is a kitchen table with benches for your dining experiences. The kitchen table can fold out to easily accommodate 3 people and serve as a desk for remote working. The plush queen-size bed ensures restful nights, with extra blankets provided for added comfort. In the center of the room, you will enjoy two swivel chairs, a smart TV for your relaxing. The mounted TV can be turned so you can watch TV in bed as well. You’ll also have access to your own washer and dryer in the unit, making longer stays easy and convenient. The bathroom is thoughtfully equipped with a walk-in shower, shower chair, and handrails for added accessibility. It is also stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap and a hair dryer so no need to pack extra items. Just outside, a covered patio with two chairs offers the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening unwinding in the fresh Idaho air. Note that the yard is not usable for this unit as it belongs to the tenants of the main house. The main house is not connected to this unit. The Bird Nest is it's own private dwelling with a small, covered patio you can use for your enjoyment outside. Just a few blocks away, you can explore Whitewater Park, Quinn’s Pond, and the Boise Greenbelt — perfect for paddleboarding, biking, or simply soaking up nature. I arrived from out of town for work. Upon arrival, I found the door lock batteries were dead, making it impossible to secure the door. I contacted the host to report the issue, as my valuables were inside. The host company instructed me to purchase new batteries and promised a refund, which was never issued. Two days after cooking, I noticed there was no sponge available to clean the dishes. I asked the host if there were any sponges, and they said they would send someone (the response came two days later). I didn’t wait and bought sponges from a dollar store. I didn’t mind the earlier issues because the place was peaceful and had all the necessary amenities for my stay. Unfortunately, when I checked out, I left my pillow behind. The cleaning company found it and arranged for me to pick it up at Birdhouse, but it was left in the alley, sitting on a plastic bag exposed to the elements. The pillow could have been placed inside the bag instead. The Host never responded. So they get a D-

Cute and very clean in a walkable/bikeable area in town. We just needed a place to stay while we moved and this place worked well.

Booked less than 24 hours before stay. Was declined full refund. Photos are deceiving and it’s far from downtown. Not walkable
